We present you a photo-essay "Elderly Women in Guria", was created by Keti Khidasheli (Ozugeti) under the frameworks of our project "Feminist Photo Wokrshop".
"Recent demographic studies have demonstrated that a significant part of the population in the villages of Guria is of an advanced age. Frequently, their family members have migrated to large cities in search of work. If we take into account the fact that women's life expectancy is greater than that of men, the majority of elderly women find themselves alone. This photo story will demonstrate their everyday life".
